There are just two dials.  The top dial sets the total alarm time from 5 minutes to 2 hours in 5-minute increments, and the lower dial can be used to set a warning time.  The light changes from green, to yellow & then red as it counts down the time. The volume can be adjusted or the alarm sound can be turned off if you prefer to use it as a visual timer only.  Measures 4 3/4″ high, and requires 3AAA batteries, not included.
